Avery and Luke

People always ask me how Avery is with Luke and what she thinks of him. It is clear in the pictures below that she loves him! She is a little mommy and always wants to know where he is and is concerned that he is ok. She loves to kiss and hug him, and he lights up when he sees her. We are so thankful for their great relationship so far!

Summer Days

We went next door to the George's house to celebrate Bryan's birthday and had so much fun!

We had a going away party for the Housers and Griffins, 2 couples in our Sunday school class who are moving to begin their medical residencies. Avery had so much fun when Cason and Kuy began twirling balloons for her to run through. When their arms got tired, Kyle and Jamie took over on the other side of the room.

Trip to New Orleans

These are pictures from our trip New Orleans for Mother's Day, vacation, and of course for Uncle Jon and Aunt Leslie and cousins to meet Luke.

Avery got to feed ducks at a park near Grammy and Grampa's house. Very fun! She is such a movie star in those glasses!

We had a crawfish boil on Mother's Day. It is obvious here that they were happy and having fun. Avery didn't want any crawfish, but she walked around eating a corn on the cob, which is really spicy! Mike was very excited!

Aidyn couldn't get enough holding Luke. So cute!

Anniversary Dinner Cruise

To celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary, we went on a Dinner Cruise in Kemah. We had a blast! It was a Murder Mystery Theater cruise. We found out as we were entering the boat that we were all suspects! We had costumes and scripts. We had a scrumptious dinner of beef tenderloin and tilapia and desserts...it was very yummy! It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something different to do.

Strawberry Pickin' with Nana

Mommy, Avery, Luke, and Nana went strawberry pickin' at Froberg's Farm in Alvin (it is right by my parent's house). We had so much fun! We picked a lot of strawberries and took them home to eat. For a long time after that, every time Avery had strawberries on her plate, she would point to them and shake her head "yes" saying "Mommy, Nana, Baby, yes!" We obviously created a memory she didn't forget.
