On Avery's actual birthday, August 19th, we (Nana, Aunt Shelly, and cousin Hannah) took her to the Cheesecake Factory. We had a ball! The waiters sang "Happy Birthday" to her. She just sat and smiled and listened with her hands clasped...it was so cute!
She thought her dessert was really neat...
and she really wanted it!
But only to spread it on Mommy's hand, not to eat it. We tried a few times to give her bites of the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, but she didn't want it. Weird, except she had never had anything sweet and cold except for a cupcake.
She was very happy with herself!
